Venus Wine offers over 800 outstanding wines, over 500 are under $20, and over 100 are $10 or less.
We are constantly seeking out new deliciousness to share with you. For every wine that we choose to sell, there are dozens that we taste and choose not to sell. The distributors that we purchase from know that we are picky, and not to waste our time. We narrow down their good suggestions to the ones that we feel deliver the most satisfaction for the price, and offer something different from anything else in the store. Adding a new wine that is similar to another that we all enjoy is always great, the adventure becomes broader with more choice, however, I am careful not to get into a rut to expect every offering of a varietal to exhibit exactly the same characteristics. Sometimes, I like a Cab because it tastes like a Cab, other times, I'm excited by one that tastes totally different because of where it was grown, or how it was made.
No matter what level you are at in your wine enjoyment, from absolute beginner to frequent wine club member, you can come into Venus Wine and leave with a collection of wine you will want to share with your friends and family.

We have over 100 different great wines from California and around the World all priced at $10. The selection is constantly changing while offering great values that over-deliver for the price. We offer mix & match discounts that bring the $10 wines down to $9 a bottle when you buy 6+, and $8.25 a bottle when you buy 12+. Several wines are also offered at $9 at any given time, typically to move through the last few bottles to make space for new deliciousness, often the newest vintage of that same wine.
When buying from the $10 wall, we recommend stocking up, some of the wines will be available only in limited quantities. Dinner time is so much easier when you can choose a wine from a decent collection in your wine rack. You cook a wide variety of foods for dinner, why wouldn't you keep a diverse collection of wines to choose from to compliment the flavors of your meal. Try one bottle of a wine when we first recommend it, then buy 3-6 after you confirm that you enjoy it. Keep those on hand for the right meals. Each time you come in to stock up, it is a good idea to buy a few bottles of something you already like, as well as trying some new selections.
Many times, when a wine is no longer available in the $10 section, it is not that the wine wasn't a favorite, rather that we exploited a deal that is no longer available, or that a quantity commitment makes bringing the wine back impractical at the $10 price. We often find exceptional deals on wines that vastly over-deliver for their price. We especially like to do this on the $10 wall. I love it when I can lower the price of a $14-15 wine that I really appreciate at that price, and drop it down to $10 or less. Many of the wines are still favorites if I have to bring them back to $12-15 later... others aren't a good value to me or my customers at anything over $10. Some of the wines you love may sell out... usually I can special order you a case or just a few bottles of one of these wines at its regular price.
We certainly do love when our favorite $10 wines are always available. Of the 100+ wines on the $10 wall, over half of them will come back on a regular basis. Occasionally we will run out of one varietal of a brand before the others are low enough for us to reorder the deal. If we are out of something you like, please let us know - we are happy to let you know when an item returns to stock, or special order some bottles for you.
